Update: Updated Guidelines for the Re-Opening of Eben-Ezer Haitian Baptist Church of Westbury

The doors of Eben-Ezer Haitian Baptist Church of Westbury were re-open since August 2020 for in person worship services.  The health of our church members is our highest priority.  We are committed to provide a safe environment for them.  In the sanctuary, the guidelines below are followed:

1.  Worship Services

On August 2, 2020, we returned in the sanctuary for worship services.  We conducted at that time one morning service at 11:00 AM until October 11, 2020.  Beginning October 18, 2020, we are conducting two worship services on Sundays, one from 9:00 am – 10:15 am and the other from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm.  Only the second service is online.  We are considering two key elements:  1) We are gathering in a manner that is consistent with the CDC social distancing guidelines; 2) We recognize that a great party of our church is not returning at this time.  As we gather, we make an effort to minimize the opportunity for exposure of Covid-19.  We have a team in place with a specific plan designed to increase your safety if you choose to attend.  Worship service is not the same as it was before the pandemic.  For members who are considered high risk and for those who do not feel comfortable to return at this time, we continue to provide online opportunity to worship with us on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter.  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday prayer services are in the sanctuary and on the Webex line.

2.  Sunday School

A change of time is planned for the Sunday School.  The Sunday School will again be on Webex line at a time to be announced.

3.  Meetings

Church Committee and Council have returned for meeting in the church on 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month, and other Sunday, if needed.  Social distancing guidelines are being followed.

4.  Ministries

Some Church groups gatherings or meetings are returning to normal schedule in the church.  The meetings are functioning in keeping social distancing guidelines.

We have come from a long way, since March 2020, to meet face-to-face with you all again. May the Lord continue to guide us during this pandemic time!

Mizajou: Gid Mizajou pou reouvèti Eglise Baptiste Haitienne Eben-Ezer de Westbury

Pòt Eben-Ezer Legliz Batis Ayisyen nan Westbury te re-louvri depi Out 2020 pou sèvis adore moun. Sante manm legliz nou yo se pi gwo priyorite nou. Nou angaje nan bay yon anviwònman ki an sekirite pou yo. Nan Tanp lan, yo swiv direktiv ki anba yo:

1. Sèvis Adorasyon

2 Out 2020, nou te retounen nan Tanp lan pou sèvis adorasyon yo. Nou ap konsidere de eleman kle: 1) Nou ap rasanble nan yon fason ki konsistan avèk gid CDC distans sosyal yo; 2) Nou rekonèt ke yon gwo pati nan legliz nou an pa retounen nan moman sa a. Kòm nou ranmase, nou fè yon efò pou misyon pou minimize opòtinite pou ekspoze nan Covid-19. Nou gen yon ekip an plas ak yon plan espesifik ki fèt pou ogmante sekirite ou si ou chwazi ale nan.

2. Lekòl Dimanch

Yon chanjman nan tan te planifye pou lekòl la Dimanch. Lekòl Dimanch lan pral ankò sou liy Webex nan yon moman yo dwe anonse.

3. Reyinyon yo

Komite Legliz la ak Konsèy yo te retounen pou reyinyon nan legliz la nan 2yèm ak 4yèm Dimanch nan chak mwa, ak lòt Dimanch, si sa nesesè. Gid distansye sosyal yo te swiv.

4. Ministè

Gen kèk reyinyon oswa reyinyon gwoup Legliz la ki retounen nan orè nòmal nan legliz la. Reyinyon yo ap fonksyone nan kenbe direktiv distans sosyal yo.

Nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

Mizajou: Mesaj konsènan COVID-19, Coronavirus Kòm yon legliz lokal, nou ap priye pou nasyon an ak moun ki afekte nan coronavirus a  (COVID-19), epi nou kontinye kenbe  konfyans nan Bondye.

Sante kominote nou an se pi gwo priyorite nou e nou pran angajman pou bay yon anviwònman san danje pou tout manm nou yo; Se poutèt sa, kòmanse Dimanch, 22 Mas, nou pral gen adorasyon sou entènèt sèlman, epi nou ap sispann adore an pèson nan mwa Mas. Tout lòt aktivite nan Legliz Batis ayisyen Eben-Ezer nan Westbury pral sispann omwen nan mwa Mas eksepte pou priyè nou pandan lasemèn.

Nou pral fè l ‘nan sa nou ap fè fas a kòm yon sosyete ak sonje ke Bondye toujou nan kontwòl.Sòm 91 v 5-7Ou pa bezwen pè bagay k’ap fè moun pè lannwit, ni kè ou pa bezwen kase pou malè ki ka rive ou lajounen.
Ou pa bezwen pè move maladi k’ap tonbe sou moun nan mitan lannwit, ni epidemi k’ap touye moun gwo midi.
Mil (1.000) moun te mèt tonbe sou bò gòch ou, dimil (10.000) sou bò dwat ou, anyen p’ap rive ou

Legliz la te mete kèk prekosyon nan plas, ogmante pratik sanitasyon ak mande adoratè evite kontak fizik youn ak lòt. Nou pral kontinye kontwole sitiyasyon an COVID-19, epi yo pral kenbe ou enfòme.

Men kèk nan mezi debaz yo ki nan lis sou sit entènèt CDC a:

Toujou lave men ou avèk savon ak dlo si men ou wè sal.

Sonje lapriyè epi mete Bondye an premye nan tout sa nou fè.
